The Other Half

"The Other Half" is a tale of desperation, mystery, and transcendence. Young Gail sits alone in an open train car, gazing at half a weathered stone pendant. After a shadow-shifting crow steals her pendant, a ghostly figure appears, recovers the pendant, and reveals that he has more in common with Gail than she first thought...

April 18

Very close to being done with the film! I have two shots left to clean up & color, then it's on to compositing and sound editing. I plan to be done before the beginning of next week, so I'm getting ready for some sweet Flash action.

April 2nd Update!

February 22nd was my last update. Clearly, I'm not consistent with this. Anyway, I've been cleaning up and coloring my film. It's going well, and I think I'm going to finish by the last day of Animation Projects II, which is the 25th of this month.

Here's an updated work reel.

ZBrush progress!

This is going to be brutal to actually finish, render, etc. Here it is though:

February 22...updated work reel!

Finally, and at long last, after a very long night, here is my updated work reel. The sound is almost final sound. Voice acting by me! That's right. That's right.

Week of Monday February 13th.

Animation is going well. If I can get all the roughs done by the end of February, I'll have March and April to do...everything else.

I have roughs done up to about the 15th shot of the film (there are about 27 total), but I won't be posting any of them just yet. This coming Monday I'll have an updated work reel with all the roughs included. I think I can finish this project.
